Hello, this is Maddie Dahl with my very first interview. I'm starting small and working my way up, okay? This interview is with Katherine, she's been on Stardoll for years now.
Maddie: Hello Katherine, I'm so glad that you took me up on the offer for the interview. Now, please tell me, when exactly did you create your account?
Katherine: I created my account in 2012 I believe, but my first account was actually created in 2009.
Maddie: Okay, what happened to your first account? Is it still active?
Katherine: No, it's not active. I only had it for 2 years, then I took a break from Stardoll, but I started playing again a few months later.
Maddie: Okay, cool. So, what's one of the things you miss most about Stardoll, before all of the updates? From years ago I mean...
Katherine: I really liked it when you first created your account, you didn't get a bunch of different furniture and outfit options. There was the same furniture, and you also got your stardollars and starcoins right away as well. And I also liked it better when you didn't have to be level 12 to send gifts, or level 9 to post in a discussion in a club. I just liked everything simpler, there wasn't near as many features as there are now when I started.
Maddie: I wish I had a Stardoll account back then, I've only have mine since 2015. Anyway, you mentioned club discussions, do you have a club?
Katherine: Yeah, I do. It's called Chanel_Fashion, it's a role-playing club, I'm constantly deleted clubs and creating new ones, this one is fairly new.
Maddie: What was your first club?
Katherine: It was called CelebMaliah, had a few hundred members. I regret deleting my clubs soon after I delete them, I create new ones only a week or two later. CelebMaliah was my most successful club, I still don't know why it's gone.
Maddie: Wow, that sucks for you. So, have you ever one a big Stardoll competition?
Katherine: Yeah, I won National Covergirl, multiple times actually. I almost won it like 2 or 3 weeks ago, I was in 4th place.
Maddie: Oh, that's cool, congrats. Okay, so, I only have a few questions left. First of all, are you friends with anyone popular on Stardoll?
Katherine: Yeah, Skittle.Fashion, I'm pretty sure you know who she is. She makes presentations.
Maddie: Yeah, I know. Anyone else?
Katherine: Have you ever heard of Cats.Paw?
Maddie: Yeah, occasionally I see the name come up, she has a lot of friends and is always in parties, and she has a few popular clubs I think.
Katherine: Yep, my little party girl. Well, she's not little, but whatever.
Maddie: Lol. So, what advice do you have for people creating Stardoll accounts that have no idea what to do?
Katherine: First of all, a good way to level up is to do the daily tasks everyday, and for the first week focus on achievements, don't start the academy until level 9 at the highest, that's the best way that I tried. Also, make good friends, they're very important, go to parties and join clubs, be social. When you're buying something that's SD and you don't have a lot of money left, make sure that you'll actually use it. When you're about to throw something away, ask yourself if you've used it in the past 2 months, you might want to keep it if you have. Don't EVER give out your password, email, phone number, anything. Also, use as many codes as you can, and don't buy Starbazaar hairs without knowing what they look like on a Medoll first.
Maddie: Thanks for those tips, they might be helpful to me and I've had my account for years. So, I noticed you mentioned codes, do you have any you'd like to share with us?
Katherine: Of course, I don't know if they all work still, I think they do though. Here they are:
RH-98AHU3PBE, RH-UV1FXCGLX, RH-6JNYPBB59, RH-MTXLV2UKS, RH-7QTXF24MY, RH-D4JJNP3KA, RH-VSYDKK6PR, RH-ZZSJ486M3, RH-B5UC3BPH9
Maddie: Thank you for these, we really appreciate it. Well, that seems to be all the time we have, I have you have a wonderful day, goodbye Katherine, I hope to do this again sometime!
